Founded in 1995, Georges et Phina portent des lunettes has been importing and distributing innovative, award winning eyewear to independent eyewear professionals across Canada. In a time when large multi-nationals controlled the market with brand name products, Georges et Phina dared to introduce unique high-end products to eyewear professionals, created by eyewear designers with a thirst for innovation and style.

16 years later, we add to our product lines the world’s first Eco-friendly frames, Linkskin. From raw materials to the manufacturing process, every attention is directed at ensuring that the product is as green as possible, while achieving a level of esthetics, comfort and durability that consumers demand. The result is a new collection that meets several internationally recognized requirements as a green product.

Who are Georges et Phina? Georges Laoun is a Montreal optician raised in Alexandria, Egypt, with over 60 years of experience in the optical industry, and Phina is his wife. In this truly unique family business, all four children manage their respective departments; Anne-Marie Laoun, company president, Daniel Laoun, Director Georges et Phina, Sherif Laoun, Supervisor Georges Laoun Optician, and Mylene Laoun, Buyer at Georges Laoun optician.
